Heliskiing Canada with Northern Escape Heli-Skiing Experience the Difference!

Northern Escape Heli-Skiing is owner operated and dedicated to the heli ski/snowboarding experience, customer satisfaction and your safety. It is our goal to exceed your expectations in each.

Our location, just South of the Alaska border, in remote Northwest BC, encompasses over 1.8 million acres of legendary glaciated, alpine and open tree skiing/riding. It offers one of the deepest and most reliable heli ski snowpacks on the planet and, with Snowcat back-up, we ensure you ski/ride it every day. Our location also offers easy access with direct flights, saving you valuable travel time and expense.

You will enjoy the exclusivity and intimate experience of skiing in small groups with the choice of several different heli skiing package options. Your Guides are all highly trained and certified. They are consummate professionals dedicated to your safety and the ultimate heli skiing and riding experience.

Our lodges offer remote settings with all the amenities you'd expect and unmatched customer service. After skiing/riding enjoy the après ski atmosphere in our lounge, indulge in a massage for those sore muscles or sit back and relax in one of our hot tubs. Our Chefs have designed an exquisite culinary experience and along with our Sommelier recommended wine list, you are assured of a five star dining experience.

  • All lodges are within 40 min of the Terrace Regional Airport
  • Gourmet meals provided by their in house Red Seal chefs
  • Lodging provided in one of three lodges
  • Special Features: One of the biggest areas in the world, and a place that has a long and steady supply of snow.  Selection of packages to suite your budget and tastes.

Our catskiing area was created out of some of our best tree skiing terrain and encompasses over 6,000 acres, that's nearly the size of Whistler and Blackcomb ski areas combined. It offers everything from steep trees to pillows and open bowls with an average run length of over 2,000 vertical feet.

Should the weather clear enough to fly while we are catskiing, the helicopter will simply pick us up and we'll continue our day of deep powder skiing without interruption? Or, if we're heliskiing and the weather starts to turn for the worse, we will meet the snowcats and again continue our day seamlessly enjoying that deep powder. It's the best combination imaginable - Heliskiing/boarding perfected!
